CropLife Europe stands firmly on the side of peace. We are shocked by what is happening in Ukraine and we express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the war and we want to do whatever we can to help.
As an immediate step and to answer the UN Appeal for Ukraine made just now, CropLife Europe will make a donation to the United Nations World Food Programme. This donation will support WFP emergency operations to provide assistance for people fleeing the conflict inside Ukraine and in neighbouring countries. We will also discuss strategic and longer-term actions in the coming days as the conflict evolves.
We urge all our members, our friends, and our colleagues to consider how they too can help alleviate the suffering that this war is already bringing about.
