CropLife Europe continues to condemn in the strongest possible terms the military aggression in Ukraine ordered by the Russian government. We express our full and unwavering solidarity with the Ukrainian people, and sincere condolences to those who have lost loved ones or livelihoods as a result of the war.
We fully support the sanctions adopted by the European Union and will ensure full compliance.
CropLife Europe and its members will continue to address the implications of the war on European food security, as a matter of urgency. Member companies will put in place their utmost efforts to ensure delivery of goods to Ukrainian farmers, in order to secure the current season and harvest.
We call for support from the European Union in taking immediate steps to maintain the existing trade flow of agricultural commodities out of Ukraine and establish a practical and secure logistic system to supply Ukrainian farmers.
