Manifesto for the European Union to establish a Strategy for Critical Ag Technologies

As an original signatory of the Manifesto for a European Strategy on Critical Ag Technologies, CropLife Europe supports the call for a dedicated EU framework that recognises agricultural technologies as strategic assets for Europe’s food security, resilience and competitiveness. At a time of growing geopolitical uncertainty, climate pressures and a shrinking farmer toolbox, Europe must ensure farmers have timely access to innovation, including plant protection products, biologicals, digital and precision agriculture tools, and new breeding techniques. A Critical Ag Technologies Strategy would help align policies across the EU and strengthen Europe’s capacity to produce food sustainably, competitively and securely.
