CropLife Europe and its members are honoured to be selected as part of the European Board on Agriculture and Food (EBAF) expert group, established by the European Commission namely to “ensure coherence and synergy across European Union policies and their consistency with private sector initiatives” through multi-stakeholder dialogue.
The EBAF’s mission aligns with CropLife Europe’s commitment to empowering farmers. We aim to support this mission by equipping farmers with a comprehensive toolbox of innovative and complementary solutions, enabling them to navigate transitional challenges and contribute to a sustainable, resilient and competitive agricultural future.
“EBAF is a chance to take meaningful action to address the critical challenges facing EU agriculture. We look forward to working constructively with Commissioner Hansen, his team and EBAF members to shape collectively policies that ensure the future resilience, competitiveness and sustainability of European agriculture” commented Olivier de Matos, Director General of CropLife Europe and the sector’s representative in EBAF.
